Citywide Transportation Programs
In addition to the transportation projects, the City of Marysville incorporates several programs to assist on implementing the transportation vision of the City.
These include:
Safety
Funding to improve safety at spot locations
Pedestrian
Funding to upgrade or complete sidewalks, curb ramps, and trail sections for areas not included in other projects
Bicycle
Funding to upgrade or complete bike facilities (such as bike lanes, buffered bike lanes, intersection markings, bike route wayfinding) for areas not included in other projects
Intelligent Transportation Systems
Funding to upgrade the traffic control systems to make operations more efficient and better utilize existing right-of-way
Transit
Funding to support implementation of Community Transit service (such as improved access to transit stops, and transit stop facilities)
Operations/Maintenance
Funding to maintain the current transportation system investments
